The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of characters who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear mismatched, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the region and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could enable the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Planners parties.

Audiences can anticipate finding out which characters will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
