Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
